What's All This Pie Business?

I bake as a form of meditation and apparently my pies are pretty damn good. I also like to bake pies for people that seem to need one for one reason or another: sometimes they're stressed out and hating the world, sometimes it is Christmas, sometimes it is Tuesday, and sometimes I don't need an excuse. I also like to bake personal pies for my pseudo-nieces and pseudo-nephews; not many people bake anymore and the kids around here don't have grandmothers near by so I do what I can to fill grandma's shoes.
